My consulting work spans communications, campaigns, teaching and more

Here’s a selection of my recent consulting projects

  • Communications and campaigns

I have worked with a variety of values-driven organisations, including Good Law Project, on communications, campaigns and storytelling. Since October 2023, I’ve worked on a part-time, freelance basis as the Programme Manager for Future Voices, a leadership and training programme delivered by The Voice of Domestic Workers and Sounddelivery Media. This programme equips migrant domestic workers (photographed above) with the skills and confidence to share their stories and effect policy change.

  • Heritage and storytelling

I have worked with heritage organisations and institutions on a freelance consultancy basis. I’ve worked with the Museum of London as a storytelling consultant, and with the Migration Museum on their communications campaign for their exhibition Heart of the Nation: Migration and the Making of the NHS, where I secured coverage of the exhibition in the Guardian, the Big Issue, Dazed, the Metro, and more.

  • Teaching and facilitation

I am currently a Visiting Lecturer on the MA Magazine Journalism course at City, University of London, where I lead weekly seminars and will be supervising final projects in Summer 2024. I have also designed and delivered workshops for BA and MA students at the London College of Communication on pitching and ethical storytelling (photographed above), and for grassroots community groups including Britain’s East and South East Asian Network on writing and editing.

  • Speaking and hosting

I have spoken, moderated and hosted public events both in the UK and internationally organised by a wide variety of organisations, including Amnesty International, Thomson Reuters Foundation, Oneworld Publications, FIFDH Geneva and more.
